Design Kit is an alternative, more casual service from Redmond Aldrich Design that lets
clients all over the country create tailored and glamorous rooms without a traditional
relationship with an interior designer.
The kit tends to be less expensive and less interactive, because the client
orders items on their own, and communication is done
over the phone and by email. Kits include pictures, swatches, two floor plans and a shopping list of all the
items we recommend for the space, along with instructions, and usually arrive three weeks
after we begin design. |

Of course! The heart of a Design Kit is the folio (a 20 inch tall inspiration
board), or folder (a tri-fold packet) with swatches, images, a floorplan and a rendering that shows an overall impression of
the room. We also include an alternate floorplan, a shopping list of all items specified, and instructions
