This project is a stunning blend of coastal elegance and ease. When we started we were blown away by the double height windows and proximity to the ocean, but the layout was dated and was due for a refresh. Working with Eichler Davies, Scott Lewis Landscape Architecture and MatPel we kept the open, airy floor plan, eliminated hallways and turned the courtyard into an active outdoor lobby. There are now three perfect suites for family and friends, including one of our favorite bunk rooms of all time – really more of a bunk-room studio. Gorgeous art punctuates all the spaces but truly it’s the light and sea air that takes the prize here.
