This client is musical, funny and appreciates quirk and beauty. When we began the project he was a single father of four, and his greatest wish for the house was to have a happy atmosphere for his children. We tackled the kid’s rooms first, (a request we hardly ever hear), and from there in short order we whipped the rest of this mid-century jewel box into shape. The architecture, design and art all add up to a chill but considered environment, it is elegant, but without pretense or formality.
